10 Facts you didn’t know about the Titanic

The Titanic is the most iconic ship of all time. At the time, the ship was the largest in the world and many people thought it was truly unsinkable.  Early in the morning , on April 15th, 1912 the ship did the unthinkable, and sank to the bottom of the ocean.

Here are some little known facts about the ship and the tragedy that became its maiden voyage:


10. The Titanic entered service in 1912 and was the largest passenger ship in the history of the world.  Measuring at 883 feet long, the ship was the largest man-made moving object on Earth.
